The Patient Care Supervisor (PCS) is accountable for the coordination of patient care across a continuum of services. Partnering with hospital leadership, the PCS facilitates achievement of clinical targets and ensures the quality, appropriateness, and cost-effectiveness of services delivered utilizing knowledge of standards, policies, and procedures as outlined for the medical center.
The PCS coordinates daily staffing needs, patient admissions and bed placement.
The PCS supervises all inpatient care staff and daily clinical and administrative functions and provides 24/7 medical center leadership and supervision in the absence of departmental and administrative leadership.
Graduate of an associate’s, diploma or baccalaureate nursing program.
All associate's degree or diploma registered nurses hired into the Department of Nursing with a RN start date after April 1, 2020, must provide documented evidence of program completion of their baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within 5 years from the last day of the month of their RN start date.
3 years of acute care RN experience
Highly professional with excellent leadership, organizational, clinical and interpersonal skills.

Current MN RN license
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association

• Neonatal Resuscitation Protocal (NRP)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC)
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $41.48 per hour.
