Position description
Responsible for promoting Pharma Diagnostics products and services to specific accounts. The PAE will work with other Pharma Diagnostics team members to achieve new collaborative relationships. The PAE will also develop existing relationships into larger strategic relationships that provide mutual benefit to the client and Mayo Clinic. With the aid of the Pharma Diagnostics Commercialization team, the PAE will effectively prospect to uncover new opportunities for collaboration with Pharma Diagnostics business. Evaluates, identifies, and manages new strategic partnerships. In coordination with the Commercialization Director, the PAE will be responsible for building out a customer base, working collaboratively and in conjunction with all levels of the Pharma Diagnostics organization to ensure attainment of goals and objectives. Be able to connect client initiatives with Mayo Clinic efforts and offerings. Works within complex, highly matrixed organizations and focuses on building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with Pharm Diagnostics strategic customers and partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in the life sciences, business or a related field, and minimum of four years’ experience in the pharmaceutical market, sales, business management, or health care industry experience.

A master's is preferred. Account management or field staff experience is preferred. Must understand client organizational priorities through application of client, industry, and competitive knowledge. Must have a high level of communication, management, and influence skills to engage in value co-creation and joint solution development. Requires decision-making and problem solving ability. Must be accountable, adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable, responsible and able to perform well within multifunctional environments. Adherence to Mayo Clinic and MCSI policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver presentations as well as communicate clearly and succinctly in writing.
License or certification
