Provides pharmaceutical care in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate and cost effective drug therapy to patients.
Minimum education required is a B.S. in pharmacy with 2 years work experience or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
An advanced degree (MS, PharmD) or residency is preferred. Experience in inpatient or outpatient pharmacy practice is preferred. Board Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is preferred. Previous experience in applicable specialty practice area is preferred.
License or certification
Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
Monday - Friday Evenings with 8.5 hour shifts typically starting at 3pm.
While routine weekend shifts are not anticipated for this full-time evening shift pharmacist position, occasional weekend shifts (with days off during the week before and after) may be scheduled for unusually low staffing levels or high workload.
