Assesses and treats patients referred for Physical Therapy for pelvic health. Organizes and conducts Physical Therapy program to restore function, maximize independence, and prevent or correct disability following impairment. Able to evaluate and treat referrals from a wide range of specialties including Gynecology, Urology, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Women’s health
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
OUTPATIENT EXPERIENCE: Two years of outpatient physical therapy experience in treating pelvic health patients.
OUTPATIENT PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Doctorate in Physical Therapy 2) Advanced Specialty Certification, including, but not limited to: Board certification in Women’s Health Physical Therapy.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Frequent stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting is required when moving patients and/or equipment during treatment. Due to nature of the work, good interpersonal skills and sensitivity are necessary.
License or certification
Florida State licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,919.20, based on a full-time position.
Weekdays, Monday- Friday 8 hour/day
