Position description
The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, WI, is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist with training in Addiction Psychiatry.

Patients at Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare are treated by a growing and robust interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, neuropsychologists, behavioral therapists, nurses, and other specialists. This group provides evidence-based diagnostic and treatment interventions to children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

This position will include administrative duties supporting regional initiatives and state regulatory requirements for our addiction programs. These responsibilities will provide you with leadership opportunities within the department, institution and community and will also provide you with the opportunity to help design and implement new models of care. There will also be the opportunity for a 20% appointment at Mayo Clinic Rochester for interests related to research, academics, or clinical practice.

License or certification
  • Completion of a Psychiatric Residency
  • Completion of an Addiction Fellowship is preferred
  • Board Certified or Qualified in General Psychiatry
  • Board Certified or Qualified to sit for Addiction Certification
  • Active and Unencumbered State License
  • Active DEA
