The primary patients served on 3rd Surgical include: thoracic, vascular, general surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ears nose and throat (ENT), eye, oral, and maxillofacial surgery, major breast, and plastics/reconstructive surgery. The medical diagnoses include: back pain, abdominal pain, bowel obstruction, pancreatitis, pneumothorax, and closed head trauma as well as patients with radiology or endoscopy procedures. Telemetry is remotely monitored.
