This is a full time telework position.
The Clinical Decision Support Team within the ERIS Portal and Decision Support Unit is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to support Epic clinical decision support (CDS) functionality across the enterprise. The individual will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing Epic CDS functionality such as BestPractice Advisories (BPAs), Health Maintenance, Genomics, Care Paths and BPA Reporting. Key skills include the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Epic CDS functionalities. The individual will be responsible for assisting with sizing of tasks, tracking to timelines, and assisting coordination of build releases within the team.
The individual will be expected to participate in an on-call rotation for handling incident tickets and providing support of complex clinical workflows. This position requires a high level of analytical skills, organizational skills, sound judgment and decision-making ability, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams. We are looking for candidates with certification and experience in Epic modules. Possessing an Epic certification is required with preference in BestPractice Advisories - Basics badge and/or BestPractice Advisories – Advanced badge. Health Maintenance badge or Reporting Workbench (Cogito) certification is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years’ experience OR Associate’s Degree with 6 years’ experience.
Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorship now, or in the future (for example, be a U.S. Citizen, national, or permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Bachelor's degree preferred. 4-6+ years of work experience in IT or application/systems analysis is preferred. Preferred work experience in building Epic applications. Epic certifications preferred.
Vendor application certification may be required.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
Hours / Pay period
Full time telework. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support.

This vacancy may be open to full time telework candidates within the U.S./ reasonable travel to a Mayo facility if ever a business need/ meeting or client-facing. Mayo Clinic has facilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida.
