Senior Engineer - Virtual and Augmented Reality

Position description
  • Invent, analyze, design, develop and optimize real time VR, MR, and AR computer vision algorithms in areas related to intraoperative tracking and medical education paradigms
  • Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific, medical, and engineering disciplines. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Develop applications using available SDKs or a variety of XR consumer devices, tracking systems, and imaging systems
  • Write clean readable code and be able to debug complex problems that span systems,
  • Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace problem solving
  • Proven track record of XR development
BS in Engineering, computer science, or related field and 5 years of professional engineering or XR experience; Or MS in Engineering, computer science, or related field and 3 year of professional XR engineering experience; Or, PhD in Engineering, computer science, or related field and 1 year of professional engineering experience.
Additional qualifications
Masters or PhD preferred.
