You will use your knowledge of engineering tools, design techniques and theory to analyze and solve complex problems in the biomedical arena. You will be responsible for documenting your work, communicating with team members and customers. You will balance multiple, competing priorities while accomplishing assigned tasks on a timely basis.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering or a related field and 5 years of professional engineering experience; Or MS in Engineering or related field and 3 year of professional engineering experience; Or, PhD in Engineering or related field and 1 year of professional engineering experience.
Additional qualifications
A master’s degree is preferred, but not required. The preferred candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse technical, medical, and research staff. The preferred candidate will have experience in some or all of the following areas:
  • Experience designing medical devices using CAD software.
  • Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements for medical device design.
  • Strong analytical skills, preferably augmented by experience with finite element analysis.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,384.00, based on a full-time position.
