Position description
This is a full time telework position within the United States.

ERIS SQA team is looking for a software quality coordinator to facilitate the testing cycles for Epic application changes and upgrades. The software quality coordinator will facilitate script development and changes, schedule testing events and ensure that the testing cycle is completed successfully, bugs are documented, and plans developed to address the bugs. Additionally, the software quality coordinator will develop and publish metrics, look for continuous improvement and automation opportunities and collaborate with automation testing team in completing the automation opportunities. The software quality coordinator will also participate in the release readiness board to perform software quality assurance validation.

This position provides software quality assurance services for projects and systems. Supports the development of deliverables, which include standards and control documentation, performance and compliance metrics, and audit tracking. Investigates operational and process problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Maintains quality records and metrics status reports. Guides and directs lower level personnel on the set-up and performance of quality controls. Participates in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. Assists in the execution of quality reviews under the direction of the project team or a senior quality colleague.

A Bachelor of Science degree and training/experience in software development, or quality control; or an Associate’s degree and 2 years of professional experience in software development, software testing or quality control; or 6 years of professional experience in software development, software testing or quality control. Prior experience in software engineering methodologies, quality assurance, or project management required. Strong background in productivity software: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional qualifications
Exposure to both custom software development and vended application implementation is preferred. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures from a field of specialization (testing, auditing, software development, document management, data management, or software or laboratory regulatory

affairs). Must possess strong analytical thinking skills, excellent documentation skills, an ability to interact with people at all levels and possess skills in coping with ambiguous situations. Project management skills preferred. Must have ability to direct projects; participate in teams and work independently to make decisions appropriate for the business and technical environment. Incumbent must have strong interpersonal human relations skills in order to effectively mentor personnel toward quality goals.

Position requires strong analytical, organizational and interaction skills. Must demonstrate the ability to build good rapport and credibility with staff and convey technical information clearly and concisely. Experience in participating in structured reviews or audit is preferred. Ability to develop trusting relationship with fellow team members and customers. Possesses excellent attention to detail and ability to gather objective evidence and communicate findings. Evidence of strong communication, facilitation, mentoring, consulting, meeting management, multi-tasking, organization, and prioritization skills.
License or certification
Certification and/or training in quality or testing certification, e.g., ISO Service Management, CSTP, or ITIL desired.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,739.20, based on a full-time position.
