Develops customized Rev Cycle reporting content using Epic’s Clarity database, specializing in Hospital and Professional Billing.
Distribute and maintain analytics content within Epic Hyperspace, including Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, and Epic-Crystal integrated content.
Uses various software applications such as desktop tools, spreadsheets, report writing software, statistical software, graphical presentation tools, and Business Intelligence applications to assemble, manipulate and/or format data. Maintain Business Intelligence models to design, develop and generate both standard and ad-hoc reports.
Generate reports for internal and external customers for business performance monitoring and business decision making. Works within controls to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality of all reports, views, dashboards, analyses and user data. Adherence to all development standards and protocols including the likes of Change Management, Code Review, Documentation and Testing
Educate and advise internal customers on how to leverage available data for consumption. Must be able to develop, maintain, review and explain data models. Stay updated with business operations and Business Intelligence processes. Build relationships with Business Intelligence partners to understand data needs in order to execute with excellence on documented user requirements and prototypes
Demonstrated SQL skills with extensive experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions. Design, develop and troubleshoot extract packages that implement complex programming processes. Extracts operational, performance, statistical and other data from various information systems. Experience with dashboard design and delivery. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to problems quickly. Must be able to translate concepts and directions into practical solutions.
Must have development experience with relational database structures, multi-dimensional database, and data warehouse design architecture. Determine business intelligence and data warehousing solutions to meet business needs. Identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely fashion.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight years' revenue cycle, system, or data delivery experience required.
Proficiency or certification in Epic’s Revenue Cycle Data Models, including PB, HB. or Claims/Remittance.
Previous experience with Crystal reports preferred.
Knowledge of Epic’s analytics platforms, such as Custom SQL metrics and SlicerDicer preferred.
License or certification
Epic Certification is required within first year of job acceptance.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
This is a full time telework position.
Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p
Weekend and nights maybe required during software implementations and other like events.
