*Coordinate scheduling for patient care areas and medical staff as assigned.
*Input scheduling data into the master schedule templates.
*Assure all patient care areas are adequately staffed according to the staffing models and plans approved by leadership
*Participate in various team projects to ensure schedule process changes are understood, followed, and in line with staff member’s scope and ability for providing quality patient care.
*Support both local and corridor operations as needed or directed
High school graduate or G.E.D.
Minimum of one year of related experience
Possess compassion, empathy, dedication and the giving of oneself to the needs of the patient and staff are imperative.
Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a calm, efficient and professional demeanor at all times, especially during stressful, emotional and chaotic situations.
Requires excellent listening and understanding of interpersonal communications
Required to establish and build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Must build teams and foster teamwork
Able to work independently with limited supervision.
Must be highly organized, efficient and multifunctional with the ability to work independently.
Intermediate computer knowledge and skills are required.
Maturity, reliability, self- motivation and initiative are essential.
Preferred: Two years technical school or college.
Preferred: Three to four years of experience in Healthcare/Healthcare scheduling
License or certification
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $18.27 per hour.
Monday-Friday; various shifts between 6am-4pm
Remote telework option available a majority of the time however onsite needs may be required for Lake City, Cannon Falls and Red Wing.
No weekends, evenings or holidays at this time, but must be willing to work weekends if needed in the future.
