The Department of Medical and Surgical Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a supplemental reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. The selected candidate will support clinic needs at Mayo Clinic one-day weekly, and should maintain an outside practice with an accredited IVF or embryology lab.
The Department of Medical & Surgical Gynecology currently consists of seven board-certified physicians providing care to a rich patient mix involving regional, national, and international patients. Existing GYN subspecialities within the department include Medical Gynecology, MIGS, Urogynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology. The department also supports Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine medical students, residents through ACGME accredited training programs, and four fellows through AAGL/FMIGS.
The Department of Medical and Surgical Gynecology has a diverse and challenging referral practice. Care is provided through a network of procedural and disease-based focus groups in collaboration with physician assistants. Research endeavors are well supported by strong departmental and institutional resources, including a Center for Clinical and Translational Science Activities as well as the Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. No obstetrical coverage will be required for this position. As a supplemental consultant, candidates will NOT be expected to take any call.
