Position description
The Division of Anatomic Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an Academic Surgical Pathologist with expertise in breast pathology to join our practice. The candidate should have a strong interest or experience in breast pathology. This position offers numerous opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration as well as personal career advancement. The ideal candidate is an academically productive pathologist with excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to multidisciplinary patient care and an interest in advancing the field of breast pathology through original scholarship.

Our Anatomic Pathology practice is multispecialty-based and highly complex, encompassing high-volume consultative practice as well as cases from patients seen at the Mayo Clinic. Due to our integrated practice model, candidates with solid general surgical pathology skills are highly desirable. The successful candidate would participate in our breast pathology consultation service as well as general surgical pathology services including frozen section practice.

The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, rank commensurate with experience.
License or certification
Board certification in Anatomic Pathology is required. Completion of a fellowship in breast pathology is highly preferred, but not mandatory. At least two years of post-fellowship experience with a track record of academic publications in breast pathology is preferred.
