Installs, maintains, and calibrates equipment and appurtenances necessary to maintain constant and comfortable temperatures, humidities, and ventilation within MCHS-FH-owned buildings with an emphasis on energy conservation as it relates to this equipment; access control, fire alarm, building automation system, conveyance system, etc., including other duties as assigned.
High school education or equivalent. Two year degree or certification from college/trade school for electronic controls or related field. Minimum three to five years experience in safety, security, fire sytem installation services, including addressable and non-adressable systems; builiding automation systme or related experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints to visualize systems in operation. Demonstrates and understanding of electrical wiring, circuit checking, fuse and breaker replacement, electrical and electronic troubleshooting.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $31.48 per hour.
Must be able to work an 8 hour shift Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Available to work rotating weekends and on-call.
