Position description
Works with the lab manager, supervisor, and lead, to provide direction for the technical operation of the laboratory, including operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and assays, and serves as an expert resource to support functions of the laboratory technologists.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science (CLS), or medical technology (MT), and two years of relevant laboratory experience. Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and assays is required.
Additional qualifications
Must be capable of performing under time constraints, multi-tasking, and working in a fast-paced and changing environment. Must possess good communication skills and be able to work closely with others. Must be able to work independently.
License or certification
Certification from AMT or ASCP in Medical Technology, Med Lab Science or a related specialty preferred upon hire and required within 12 months.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $30.55 per hour.
