Position description
The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Arizona is seeking a highly qualified Ultrasound Radiologist. The division is engaged in a variety of clinical endeavors that include nearly all aspects of non-obstetrical adult diagnostic ultrasound imaging and ultrasound-guided interventions. Candidates should desire a practice in which the majority if not all of the individual’s clinical work is engaged in the Ultrasound section. In addition to advanced skills in adult diagnostic ultrasound, candidates must be proficient, efficient, and interested in performing and teaching ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.

Beyond this skill set, the optimal candidate would have interest in developing or developed expertise in at least one area of growth of our practice, which could be vascular ultrasound, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, musculoskeletal ultrasound, elastography, informatics, or practice quality research. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with interest and experience in research and education; dedicated academic time tied to academic productivity is available and encouraged. Candidates must be committed to teaching residents and fellows.

Our current radiology department consists of 50 radiologists, 5 physicists, 16 residents and 6 fellows and functions as a part of a large physician integrated practice. License or certification
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology with fellowship training in Ultrasound.
