SkillBridge Internship Program

Explore a life-changing career as you transition out of the military.

Mayo Clinic, in partnership with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), provides SkillBridge internship opportunities for military members transitioning from military service to civilian employment. Service members are eligible to utilize SkillBridge within 180 days of their scheduled separation from service. Please review DoD’s SkillBridge site for more details on the program.

As an employer partner, Mayo Clinic provides opportunities for service members to utilize their skills and knowledge in a variety of in-demand roles. Internships are awarded on a competitive basis, based on the service member’s education, skills and abilities that align with the requirements of a specific position at Mayo Clinic.

Internships Provide:

  • Transition from military career skills to jobs at Mayo Clinic to support the mission and vision of our organization.
  • Awareness of the many allied health and administrative career pathways available at Mayo Clinic to assist service members as they make decisions on employment post military.
