At Mayo Clinic, Belonging is integral to our mission to provide excellent, culturally relevant care in a welcoming environment to patients from a wide variety of backgrounds.

We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment where differences are valued, allowing every individual to achieve and contribute to their fullest potential. This commitment is woven into the fabric of everything we do—from serving our patients to empowering our employees, students, and communities.

EverybodyIN:

Our Office of Belonging hosts this powerful program, offering a dynamic, communal space for participants to share personal stories and lived experiences. These voluntary sessions center on thought-provoking topics relevant to current events, fostering a deep sense of connection and belonging for all.

Department Belonging Leaders (DBLs):

These passionate staff volunteers work in partnership with department leadership to intentionally integrate Belonging principles into the day-to-day work within their teams, ensuring our values are put into action across all departments.
