Compensation

Our founders, brothers William J. and Charles H. Mayo, believed that the best care for our patients depended on the individual excellence of all contributing. They believed in a pay model that attracted outstanding people and let them focus their intellectual energy on the needs of the patient—bringing to bear all the benefits of Mayo’s three shields: practice, research, and education.

We still believe that offering market-competitive compensation enables employees to fully support our mission, vision, and values. Our program includes the opportunity for regular pay increases, as well as a commitment to reviewing and adjusting pay ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

Equal opportunity

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status. Mayo Clinic participates in E-Verify and may provide the Social Security Administration and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
