Nurse Residency and Training Programs

The Nurse Residency Program (NRP) is for all nurses with less than 12 months of experience, to be completed within the first year. NRP provides a framework for a successful transition to a professional nurse by promoting educational and personal advancement. The curriculum consists of online learning modules, activities, interactive discussion boards, and live seminars that will connect with local and system wide content experts.

Nurse Residency placement into high-acuity settings (ICU, etc.) requires additional experience and/or education.  Speak with the site placement coordinator to learn more.
