Practice Operations
Mayo Clinic Practice Operations provides comprehensive support to over 38 different medical practices across the institution and consists of Desk Operations, Scheduling Operations, and Medical Administrative and Administrative Support Operations. We collaborate with all levels and disciplines at Mayo Clinic to proactively respond to the needs of the healthcare team. Whether it is over the phone with a Patient Appointment Services Specialist (PASS), or in person with a Desk Operations Specialist (DOS), we often provide patients with their first impressions at Mayo Clinic. Another important role that provides first impressions for our patients are our Access & Navigation Specialists. They typically are the first people to greet our patients right at the door when they arrive for their appointments. When a patient has followup questions, our Medical Administrative (MAA) and Administrative Assistants (AA) are often the individuals to help address the patient’s needs and figure out the best way to assist them.
Our employees bring their world class customer service skills to ensure the needs of the patient come first, and to provide the resources necessary when patients need answers. Our team employs almost 3,000 individuals across all roles and is growing every year to help meet the needs of the institution. We are looking for people who are able to multitask in fast paced environments, are adaptable to change, have great computer skills, and most importantly have a passion for providing exceptional customer service to ensure a class leading patient experience. If you are interested in joining our team and starting a meaningful career at Mayo Clinic, we invite you to explore the opportunities we provide below.
