Registered Nurse (RN)

Qualifications:

Student or graduate of an accredited, or those in the candidacy process, associate, or diploma nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). If graduated from a nursing program that was not accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA, at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is required.

All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.

Additional Qualifications:

One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of current LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in supply chain, health care, finance, accounting, business, communication, or systems, which includes two years' previous lead, project lead or supervisor experience; or Certifications may be considered in lieu of experience. SCM Operations Coordinator

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in health care, supply chain logistics, finance, business, or nursing; OR, master’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in health care, supply chain, logistics, finance, business, or nursing required. Certifications maybe considered in lieu of experience.

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: Demonstrated personal computer skills, communication skills, problem solving, continuous improvement and teaming skills. Maintains a broad knowledge of Mayo clinical, financial, and administrative systems/applications and processes. Qualifications:

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: On-the-job training for all job responsibilities is provided. Need to meet productivity standards. Must be available for occasional overtime.

Licensure/Certification Required:

SCM Logistics Associate

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: High School diploma/GED; AND, two (2) years' supply chain or business- related experience required. Associate degree plus one (1) year of experience will be considered as an equivalent.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: A high school diploma/GED required. Two years of previous customer service experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service industry required.

Security Operations

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: High school degree or GED equivalent is required.

Registered Nurse RN

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:

High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of one year of instrumentation experience OR graduation from an accredited and/or hospital approved sterile processing program and eligible to sit for certification through IAHSCMM or CBSPD.

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications:

Knowledge of specific sterilization modalities and complex advanced processing systems including gravity displacement, dynamic air-removal, low temperature hydrogen peroxide gas plasma and Ethylene oxide, DSD, CER, Pass Through Medivator Advantage, Astra Tee, GUS, Scope Buddy Plus, Aqua Sink, process and efficacy testing, and cutting-edge specialty trial and multi service instrumentation and trays is preferred. Knowledge of High, Low, and Intermediate disinfection levels is preferred. Progressive computer knowledge for advanced computerized instrument tracking systems, sterilization, assembly case information, inventory management and individual productivity data is preferred. Knowledge of progressive computer technology, human anatomy, surgical terminology, infection control, microbiology, and safety and risk control is preferred.

Qualifications:

Requires computer skills including Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use of the ability to keyboard and navigate through multiple applications. Individuals that have not completed a Medical Terminology course will be required to successfully complete a Medical Terminology course within six months of employment.

High School Diploma or GED and two years of customer service experience required, such as administrative, physician's office, appointment scheduler, clinical assistant, patient service rep, or imaging assistant. Individuals without relevant medical education or medical experience will be required to successfully complete a Medical Terminology course within six months of employment.

Additional Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and coursework in a healthcare related field is preferred (e.g., Administrative Clinic Assistant, Medical Office, Medical Assistant, Health Care/Medical Receptionist or comparable); Requires computer skills (i.e., Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use) with the ability to keyboard. Ability to work independently, be goal directed and have strong organizational skills. Effectively multitask without compromising quality. Excel in both verbal and written communication, including proper telephone etiquette, face-to-face interactions, and electronic communications. Ability to communicate with individuals and small groups with credibility and confidence. Instrument Processing Technician

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of one year of instrumentation experience OR successful completion of a vocational program for Central Service with Central Service Technician certification.

Additional Qualifications:

Successful completion of a vocational program for Central Service is preferred. One year of instrumentation experience in a hospital setting preferred. Basic computer knowledge. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to receive and give constructive feedback. Good verbal and written communication skills, being concise by phone and in person.

License or Certification:

Central Service Technician certification is required within one year of hire.

 

Patient Care Technician

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Additional Qualifications: Patient Care Experience preferred. License or Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

 

Cardiovascular Lab Technician

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: Graduate of an accredited radiography program or cardiovascular technology program. ARRT certification required to work in Radiology department. Florida license in Radiology required to work in Radiology Department. Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology certification preferred (CV, VI, CI). ARRT with state license or graduate of approved cardiovascular technology program required to work in the Cardiac Cath/EP lab.

Two years Radiographer experience preferred. Cardiac Cath lab or Interventional Radiology experience preferred. ACLS & BLS required upon hire.

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: Organized, efficient, and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours and shift lengths. On call may be required for work area.

Licensure/Certification Required: ACLS & BLS.

 

Respiratory Therapist

Qualifications:

Successful completion of a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) approved Respiratory Therapy program. Previous hospital experience preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

Should be familiar with The Joint Commission standards and requirements. Understanding of computers. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Should be familiar with risks associated with exposure to infectious patients, needle puncture hazards, and hazards related to compressed gases.

License or Certification:

All Respiratory Therapists will hold the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential prior to their first day of employment. Respiratory Therapists are required to maintain Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or the equivalent as determined by the site of hire.

Desk Operations Specialist

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience required, such as administrative, physician's office, appointment scheduler or retail/service industry. Requires computer skills including Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use with the ability to keyboard and navigate through multiple applications. Individuals that have not completed a Medical Terminology course will be required to successfully complete a Medical Terminology course within six months of employment.

 

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: Associate's Degree and coursework in a healthcare related field is preferred (e.g., Administrative Clinic Assistant, Medical Office, Medical Assistant, Health Care/Medical Receptionist or comparable). Exposure to electronic health record preferred. Ability to work independently, be goal-directed and have strong organizational skills. Effectively multitask without compromising quality. Ability to comprehend and excel in both verbal and written communication, including proper telephone etiquette, face-to-face interactions, and electronic communications. Ability to communicate with individuals and small groups with credibility and confidence. Ability to handle difficult situations, remain calm under stress, manage emotional situations, display empathy, and maintain positive communication during a rapidly changing/dynamic environment. Turn problems into opportunities by developing innovative and creative solutions.

Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, display energy and drive in performing daily responsibilities. Must be flexible as well as easily adapt to a changing work environment which will require ongoing maintenance of job-related skills/activities. Must be willing to adjust work schedules in response to department or clinical needs. Able to manage and prioritize tasks simultaneously while working directly with patients who may exhibit diverse needs. Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required in some areas. Individuals may also need to complete additional coursework upon hire.
