Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic’s Division Chair - Facilities Analytics, Tools and Technology will work in the Department of Facilities and Support Services, with the purpose of extending our expertise through digital, data and AI enablement to facilities staff, consumers, and providers to improve their experience with facilities data by providing expertise in transformation, product/platform management, design and change management to the enterprise to ensure they can execute the facilities portion of Mayo Clinic’s digital roadmap. The Senior Director will need to deploy influence and relationship skills across the organization to align multiple stakeholders and generate enthusiasm and endorsement from leadership teams and broad workforces toward organizational change while managing a portfolio of products, platforms and/or enterprise functions.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for driving the vision, strategy, business requirements, roadmap and execution of complex assignments and corresponding teams.
• Ensures alignment between all stakeholders in context of Mayo Clinic’s facility data strategy and goals, while ensuring all end-user needs are met by creating a user centric digital transformation.
• Oversees the entire life cycle of product and platform portfolios from setting the vision, managing team to hit OKRs, managing capacity against scope, with ultimately creating a best in class experience within budget.
• Establish governance, integration and architecture guidance for the digital transformation.
• Leads using Agile methodologies.
• Recruits, hires and mentors members of the team.
• Leads, manages, coaches and delegates work within work unit or functional responsibility.
• Responsible for planning and managing budgets, team performance as well as advocating for their team across the enterprise.
• Works collaboratively across all Facility domains, internal Mayo Clinic clients and departments.
• Understands operational change management and is an integrator, synthesizer and streamliner for disparate channels and groups.
• Identifies opportunity areas for improvement and optimization via engagement and cost analyses with emphasis on business value.
• Foster an internal culture of positive teamwork and transparency that drives excellent service, quality, diversity of thought, an engaging work environment and overall continuous improvement mindset. Understand the use of new and emerging data technologies and techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree or PhD in related field preferred
• Business and leadership experience (8+ years)
• Demonstrated ability to manage a varied workload of portfolios with multiple priorities and stay current on healthcare trends and enterprise changes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, networking, collaboration, communication skills and cultural awareness
• Exceptional analytical, written, oral and presentation skills with proven track record of effectively communicating actionable items
• Exemplary diplomatic skills and ability to help senior business leaders see value, opportunities, risks beyond their own area of expertise.
• Experience navigating transformation in highly regulated industries is a plus.
• Ability to lead through influence and direct multiple complex projects and activities in an ambiguous environment.
