Responsibilities
The EHR Instructor serves as a primary course instructor for a variety (minimum of 10) EHR courses that are offered to train new or transferring Mayo Clinic employees on EHR functionality as well as for specific training events, initiatives, and upgrades. The Instructor will be involved in assisting with curriculum and end user resource materials design and validation in areas of responsibilities, which may include collaboration with an instructional designer or senior instructional designer. The instructor is expected to understand Mayo Clinic workflows and to teach according to standard adult training expectations, as well as have a limited role in providing at the elbow support. The Instructor may serve as primary customer relationship manager to assigned service lines, systems and special projects. Train and mentor other staff members.
If assigned to lead instructor-led Epic courses, the EHR Instructor will be credentialed as a trainer through the internal credentialing process. The EHR Instructor should know the basics of virtual classroom management and support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Adult Education, Training & Development, Human Resources, medical or related field preferred. One to three years of related experience in training related field required. Master's degree preferred. Previous Training & Development experience required. Exceptional interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication skills and an understanding of business process are required.

$67,454.40 - $101,212.80 / year. Salary is based on location and experience closely aligning with the position.
