ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an Assistant Product Operations Manager to support a growing portfolio of cloud-based products spanning GCP, Azure, and emerging platforms. This role partners closely with Product Management to drive operational excellence, improve execution visibility, and enable scalable product practices across teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives in cloud or platform environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Operations & Planning
- Drive product operating cadences including PI planning, roadmap reviews, and quarterly business reviews
- Maintain and operationalize product roadmaps, delivery plans, and planning artifacts across teams
- Metrics & Insights
- Manage product KPIs and dashboards to track adoption, delivery health, and outcomes
- Provide data-driven insights to support product and portfolio-level decision-making
- Portfolio Coordination
- Support alignment across products and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, and others)
- Track cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery progress
- Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare executive-ready updates, presentations, and reporting
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, and business teams
- Process & Tooling
- Standardize and improve product management processes, tools, and best practices
- Identify opportunities to scale and streamline workflows across the portfolio
Role Scope
This role focuses on enabling product managers through strong operational execution, insights, and coordination. It does not own product strategy, prioritization, or roadmap decisions, but partners closely with Product Management to ensure effective execution and alignment.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience with 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience, or Associate’s degree with 5 years’ experience with 1 years demonstrated leadership experience, or HS/GED with 7 years of experience in a large, complex organization like Mayo Clinic may be considered in lieu of the degree. Experience deploying and operating on a public cloud framework. Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to build collaborative working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical ability and data-driven mindset. Ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills. Familiarity with service design and pricing in the context of cloud-based solutions. Experience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, database architecture, virtualization, software design, software development, IP networking, Linux, Agile development, SCRUM, application lifecycle management, .NET, programming languages, technical solution architecture, SOA, Windows Azure, Amazon AWS. Certification in cloud engineering is required within 12-24 months.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or similar roles
- Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or similar) and platform/product teams
- Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and reporting metrics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives
