Responsibilities
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, has a faculty position opening for a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our growing practice. The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine offers extensive exposure to managing complex pregnancy complications in a comprehensive perinatal practice. We have a division of five MFM physicians, working in a team-based model with Certified Nurse Midwives, Advanced Practice Providers, OB Hospitalist physicians, residents, students, and Family Medicine physicians. Additionally, we have a multidisciplinary, collaborative Fetal and Maternal board with the involvement of multiple medical specialties. Mayo Clinic's MFM practice provides all aspects of maternal and fetal care; complementing obstetrical care providers. Our specialists work within a multi-disciplinary team to assist women with complex pregnancies find assurance in receiving compassionate care that incorporates advanced diagnostic and treatment approaches including fetal therapy and surgery.
The Mayo Clinic Maternal Fetal Medicine practice is based on a strong regional patient network enhanced by a complex referral practice, including focused expertise in prenatal genetics, fetal structural anomalies, congenital heart disease, solid-organ transplant and cancer during pregnancy. The Rochester obstetrics practice performs 2,400 deliveries per year with an additional 6,600 deliveries annually in the Mayo Clinic Health System. The reach of our division goes far beyond our region; utilizing cutting-edge telemedicine technology, our specialists care for patients unable to come to Rochester. Clinical and research activities are enriched by collaboration with nationally and internationally renowned Mayo Clinic experts from every aspect of medicine, surgery, and science. The division supports a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship, an OBGYN residency program, and a new OB hospitalist fellowship.
Qualifications
Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in OB/GYN and MFM. Eligibility for Minnesota Medical Licensure is also required.

Compensation Detail
The minimum starting salary for Surgical specialties may range from $290,000 to $830,500. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
