ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Business Analyst supports the Revenue Cycle Automation team by leading discovery, intake, and analysis activities for automation and agentic projects. This role blends business acumen, technical understanding, and strong collaboration skills to ensure automation solutions deliver measurable value and align with organizational goals. The analyst partners closely with revenue cycle leaders, operational teams, and technical developers to define current state processes, document future state workflows, and guide initiatives throughout the automation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Discovery and Intake
• Lead the discovery and intake process for new automation and agentic opportunities.
• Evaluate business needs, gather requirements, and assess feasibility, value, and alignment with automation strategy.
Process Documentation and Analysis
• Partner with subject matter experts to document current state workflows with clarity and accuracy.
• Apply analytical thinking to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and document future state processes that incorporate automation capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Build strong relationships with revenue cycle leaders and operational partners to understand business objectives and priorities.
• Facilitate discussions that promote shared understanding, consensus building, and informed decision making.
• Translate business needs into well-defined requirements and functional specifications.
Project Lifecycle and Delivery Support
• Support automation initiatives through the full project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design validation, development review, UAT coordination, and deployment readiness.
• Develop and execute UAT plans in partnership with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet expected outcomes.
• Apply knowledge of automation platforms, including UiPath or similar technologies, to guide requirement clarification and solution alignment.
Methodology and Best Practices
• Utilize business analysis and systems engineering methodologies to ensure structured and disciplined project execution.
• Contribute to project charters, work plans, timelines, and documentation.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to refine processes, tools, and intake mechanisms.
QualificationsBachelor's and 6 years experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health or science-related field
OR
Master’s and 2 years experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health or science-related field.
CBAP Certified Business Analysis Professional, CCBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis, or PMI-PBA Professional in Business Analysis preferred.
