Responsibilities
The Communications Specialist – Content Delivery plays a key role in supporting internal communications across Mayo Clinic’s enterprise channels and advancing the organization’s staff-focused social media presence. This role develops, curates and publishes content that strengthens staff engagement, elevates culture, and highlights employee experience. The specialist partners closely with colleagues across Content Delivery, Comms Studio, site, and core portfolio teams to ensure content is timely, accurate and aligned to strategic communication objectives.
Responsibilities include:
• Write, edit and publish content for internal delivery channels.
• Create and schedule content for Life @ Mayo Clinic social channels, including short-form video and other multimedia.
• Highlight employee-centered stories that support staff experience and employer brand goals.
• Ensure content meets brand, editorial and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with partners across various departments.
• Monitor and report performance metrics across channels and apply insights to improve content.
• Stay current on social media and internal communications trends to inform content strategy.
• Support workflows, governance and content operations with the Content Delivery Manager.
This role plays a key part in strengthening how Mayo Clinic communicates with its staff and in elevating the stories, people and culture that make our organization unique. We are looking for a strong communicator who excels in creative storytelling, collaboration and supporting content delivery across multiple channels. Candidates who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and are passionate about employee- and culture-focused communications will be well aligned with this role.

Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field plus 1 year of relevant work experience. Related internships will be considered. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate in a way that creates clarity, simplifies messages, and aligns with organizational strategy. Knowledge of channels for communication and the ability to build effective communication and engagement strategies.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to independently identify opportunities, solutions and resolve challenges. Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful results. Requires an attitude that actively seeks out change, embraces critical questioning, innovation, service and continuous improvement. Must understand how to deal with and navigate ambiguity, and act without having the total picture. Adaptable or flexible. Demonstrated professionalism and ethics, with ability to earn credibility through integrity and transparency. Role models service excellence. Motivates others by being present, engaged, attentive, invites diverse perspectives, demonstrates and inspires a collaborative spirit.
