Responsibilities
The Clinic Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the Clinic. This individual will manage clinic flow, coordinate volunteers, support patient intake, and serve as a key point of contact for patients, providers, and community partners.

The St. Clare Health Mission of Monroe County is a volunteer-run free health clinic dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality care to underserved and uninsured members of our community. We rely on compassionate volunteers and staff to deliver patient-centered services in a respectful and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily clinic operations, including scheduling and patient flow
- Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers (clinical and non-clinical)
- Oversee patient intake, registration, and documentation processes
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, confidentiality standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain Finance Records
- Maintain clinic’s legal compliances with appropriate State and Federal regulators
- Serve as the primary point of contact during clinic hours for staff, volunteers, and patients
- Maintain clinic supplies and coordinate inventory needs
- Assist with reporting, data tracking, and basic administrative tasks
- Support outreach efforts and community engagement initiatives
- Supervise clinic’s part-time community health worker
**Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or volunteer coordination (3+ years preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently without daily direct supervision
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling tools)
