Responsibilities
The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a full-time Abdominal Transplant Surgeon to join our nationally recognized Department of Transplant—a leader in innovative, multidisciplinary transplant care.
Position Highlights
- Perform liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants, as well as living donor nephrectomies and deceased donor procurement
- Practice within a dedicated Department of Transplantation
- Collaborate in a multispecialty, team-based model, providing comprehensive care from evaluation through lifelong follow-up
- Access to cutting-edge research, advanced technologies, and robust educational programs across Mayo Clinic’s three sites: Florida, Rochester (MN), and Arizona
Candidate Qualifications
- Board-certified in General Surgery
- Completion (or anticipated completion in 2025 or 2026) of an ASTS-approved abdominal transplant fellowship
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, with strong interests in research and medical education
- Eligible for Florida state medical licensure

Our campuses are home to internationally recognized physicians and scientists, fostering excellence in both patient care and academic endeavors.
