Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic is searching for an innovative leader to serve as the Chair of its world class Division of hematology and medical oncology at our academic medical center in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Division Chair is a leadership position and the individual selected will be accountable for driving innovation through cutting edge clinical trials, capitalizing on technology, advancing progressive research, and educating future oncologists. She/he will be responsible for achieving exceptional patient outcomes, financial and growth objectives in addition to actively recruiting and retaining top talent to advance Mayo's mission. Successful candidates should possess excellent clinical skills and have an established track record of extramural grant funding or demonstrate a passion for clinical trial development and accrual or translational scientific collaborations.

The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic, Florida, includes more than 40 board-certified hematologists and medical oncologists, offering highly skilled, state-of-the-art care. The Chair of the Division of Hematology-Medical Oncology will also serve an important role in the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center on the Florida campus.
The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Florida is known for its extensive involvement in the preclinical and clinical development of novel therapies, biomanufacturing, and identification and translation of biomarkers.

Sustained Institutional Commitment
Mayo Clinic has committed substantial resources toward the growth and development of the cancer center and aligned programs. This commitment includes research and clinical facilities, novel radiation-based therapeutic modalities, infrastructure support for programs, and incremental clinical and research positions.
