Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London is recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mammographer with an interest in other modalities within Imaging. The Senior Mammographer should have extensive experience in Breast Imaging and screening programs.
Mayo Clinic Healthcare Imaging Department has state-of-the-art technology. 3 tesla Vida scanner, Somatom Force, GE Logic 10 Ultrasound, Siemens general x-ray. Hologic mammography unit, and a IDXA scanner. We cover all area of specialties in Imaging. As we are expanding our services, Mayo Clinic Healthcare is recruiting highly skilled radiographers who would like to onboard this journey with us. Qualifications
- Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent.
- Current valid HCPC (Health Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiography Care Professional Council) registration is required.
- Relevant post graduate experience with the post DCR in mammography ascertain in the UK from a HCPC recognized institute.
- Undertake all imaging procedures in line with existing modality guidelines in accordance with best practise (IRMER2017), CQC standards, SOR and RCR guidelines.
- Highly developed specialist Diagnostic radiography knowledge.
- Evidence of continuous Professional Development.
- Knowledge of application for different Imaging procedures and understanding the risks/benefits associated with safety requirement.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- Manage time and prioritise workloads according to service /clinical needs.
- Build and sustain professional relationships as part of the Imaging team as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Able to converse in English.
- Knowledge in Breast Imaging Audits.
- Postgraduate in Mammography.
- CT/Xray /MRI experience is desirable.
