Responsibilities
The Analytics Architect recommends, develops and deploys analytics architecture to meet product team needs using various open source programming languages and vended platform services in support of the design functionality for analytics products and programs. The position requires maintaining an end-to-end understanding of the organization's current architecture, solutions, coding languages, and tools. Regularly requires the application of independent judgment and a high tolerance for ambiguity. Provides consultative services to departments/divisions and leadership committees. Candidate may partner directly with product managers, directors and/or engineering teams to establish an architectural plan across multiple solution areas, in consideration of the program roadmap and product roadmaps. The position will develop application and solution architecture that supports requirements for system performance, scalability, security, extensibility, and manageability. Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences. Strengthens and sustains partnerships with key Information technology and practice stakeholders. Promote the reuse and extensibility of existing architecture and serves as a mentor to team members and stakeholders. The position may require evaluation of new technology capabilities in areas that seek to improve overall data experience especially in the areas of analytics to improve data scalability and performance.

Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, information technology, health science, or other analytical/quantitative field and a minimum of five years of professional or research experience as a senior developer or architect.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, information technology, health science, or other analytical/quantitative field and a minimum of seven years of professional or research experience as a senior developer or architect.
In-depth business or practice knowledge will also be considered.
