Responsibilities

  • Assists in facilitating strategic initiatives and engagement with site leaders, cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to advance organizational and departmental priorities. 
  • Serves as change agent, championing agile ways of thinking and working and enabling teams and individuals for success. 
  • Develops, administers, manages, and implements continuous process improvement and drives business innovation and transformation.
  • Identifies improvement projects and sets project priorities, parameters, expectations, and outcomes; manages process improvements projects to ensure success. 
  • Drives excellence in financial management, communication, innovative business and strategic planning/implementation, performance monitoring and reporting. 
  • Responsible for the assigned institutional committee(s) portfolio of projects including the analysis of financial expenses and promised project outcomes.
  • Provides operational leadership and direction to a team of experienced staff, ensuring resources for the department are optimized to achieve the advancement of organizational strategic goals. 
  • Helps to develop and support direct reports through education, work assignments, and skill-building. 
  • Supports staff recruitment, policy implementation and oversees budget planning. 
  • Responsible to negotiate with urgency to resolve conflicts amongst decision-makers and practice project proponents. 
  • Leads the communication amongst committees and initiative owners regarding the advancement of institutional committee priorities regarding performance results to improve understanding of strategic objectives of organization. 
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships across the enterprise to ensure timely and effective information sharing, streamlining strategy approaches/methodologies, issue resolution, business learning and common best practices implementation. 
  • Responsible for simplifying and resolving complex problems, advocating for the team in inclusive leadership, and ensuring the success of operational decisions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and 8 years’ experience or Master's and 6 years’ experience in strategy, business operations, healthcare, management consulting, project management, or analytics. Master's Degree preferred. 
  • Five years of leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to lead with influence and collaborate within a cross-functional environment and manage/motivate individuals to drive engagement and business success. 
  • Significant experience in managing projects, programs and budgets that are complex, strategic, high risk and multi-site in scope. 
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and have a proven track record in change management. 
  • Must be detail-oriented, possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must possess critical thinking skills, and the capacity to gain insights from data.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to program manage complex operations and develop effective relationships.
