Responsibilities
Works with Director of Education and Training and Training Center Coordinator to facilitate smooth daily operations of the Heartcode system and phone support. The Heartcode system is a product used to certify providers in CPR and other American Heart Association Certifications. Performs light duty maintenance on CPR mannequins, cables, and other support systems.
May cross cover other Ambulance Service Facility Techs with work such as: light bulb replacements, painting, hanging pictures, basic plumbing repairs, and general carpentry work; room set-up and emergency clean-ups; general grounds keeping including, but not limited to, mowing, watering, weeding, and snow removal as necessary; regularly cleans, maintains supplies and services public areas and offices as well as conference/meeting rooms; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed; general cleaning and detailing of various types of fleet vehicles; repositioning of fleet vehicles to and from different Mayo Clinic Ambulance bases of operation as needed. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow written and/or verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient and able to work independently and/or in a team setting. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with Mayo Clinic Policy.
Previous CPR certification preferred, but not required. Must be physically able to preform CPR skills to assure equipment is functioning properly.
