Responsibilities
The Manager of Health Policy is critical in advancing the organization’s health policy priorities through detailed policy analysis, project management, and strategic coordination. This position helps translate complex business, legal and regulatory developments into actionable insights for internal stakeholders while advancing key initiatives in collaboration with enterprise leaders. The Manager works at the intersection of strategy, operations, and advocacy, helping to position the organization as a national leader in health policy.
The Manager of Health Policy supports the development and implementation of policy initiatives by analyzing proposed legislation, regulations, and payment models, and identifying their strategic implications. This role contributes to creating policy briefs, background materials, and position statements, ensuring that timely, accurate, and relevant information is delivered to decision-makers. They lead and coordinate internal policy projects, supports cross-functional workgroups, and partners with government relations, legal, clinical practice, and research departments to align policy work with enterprise goals. The Manager of Health Policy also tracks and synthesizes emerging health policy trends, supports stakeholder engagement efforts, and contributes to a high-performing, collaborative policy team.
This individual will be a trusted adviser to senior leaders and key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations that drive business success while ensuring their strategic needs are understood and met. Excellence in financial management, communication (verbal, written, and presentations), business and strategic planning, performance monitoring, and reporting is essential. This role requires strong operational leadership skills and the ability to translate strategic insights into action.
*This position is a 100% remote work. Individual may live anywhere in the US.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience; or Master’s degree in public policy, public health, health administration, or a relevant advanced degree (e.g., PhD, JD, MBA) and 4 years of experience in health policy, healthcare strategy, consulting or related fields.
- Experience in a professional advisory firm, healthcare delivery system, academic medical center, trade association, or policy organization preferred.
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare policy, including reimbursement models, regulatory frameworks, and healthcare reform initiatives.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, timelines, and cross-functional collaborations.
- Comfortable synthesizing data and policy developments for diverse internal audiences.
- Resilient change agent comfortable thriving in ambiguity. Capable of working autonomously with minimal direction and under pressure.
- Experience working in or with health systems, academic medicine, government, or policy consulting preferred.
- Familiarity with stakeholder engagement, advocacy strategy, or policy impact assessments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex policy issues for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation Detail
$138,257.60 - $200,512.00 / year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
