Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic's Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking a dedicated Musculoskeletal or Non-Operative Orthopedic Physician to join our multi-disciplinary team in Rochester, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will be experienced—or eager to grow—in evaluating and treating hip, knee, and shoulder conditions, with a preference for those skilled in ultrasound-guided injections and aspirations. This position offers the opportunity for working in close partnership with leading orthopedic surgeons in hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, and sports medicine. There are no call obligations, and the position is designed to support outstanding patient care and team-based collaboration.

• Opportunity to lead a team of clinicians that includes 5 Orthopedic NP/PAs, and Orthopedic Nurses.
• Integrated practice with subspecialists in Lower Extremity, Musculoskeletal Oncology, Upper Extremity, and Sports Medicine.
• Close collaboration with Orthopedic Surgeons.
• Ability to work collectively with well-established referral resources.
• No Call Obligations.
• Clinical Research is highly encouraged and supported by leadership.
• Teach and serve as a mentor for our Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students through the Mayo Medical School campus in Rochester.

Qualifications
• Board-Certified / Board-Eligible in Family/Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or another specialty with Musculoskeletal expertise.
• Fellowship training in either Sports Medicine, Non-Operative Orthopedics, Total Joint Reconstruction, Shoulder/Elbow (preferred, but not required).
• Eligible for Medical License in Minnesota.

Compensation Detail
The minimum starting salary range for medical specialties may range from $203,000 to $616,000. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate may vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
