Responsibilities
The sourcing specialist partners with recruitment staff to understand staffing needs in order to develop and implement proactive, innovative sourcing strategies. This includes partnering with recruiter and departments to fully understand their roles and recruitment needs. Responsible for the use of sourcing tools including social media, internet and data base mining, cold calling, developing relationships with professional organizations and college/school recruitment. The sourcing specialist is expected to foster relationships with potential candidates through various recruitment marketing and networking channels and provide qualified, pre-screened candidates to the recruiter. Maintains ongoing relationships with high potential candidates for future openings and keeps records of potential candidates for future reference, including pipeline of passive candidates. Serves as a key resource for possible candidates and recruiters and positively represents the Mayo Clinic brand. This individual will be responsible for utilizing candidate relationship management software to maintain relationships with current and future candidates. The sourcing specialist will work closely with and communicate regularly with the recruiter to ensure a smooth transition for candidates. The sourcing specialist will be well versed in benefit options, department needs and Mayo Clinic to accurately portray the advantages of working at Mayo Clinic.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years sourcing or recruiting experience required.Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources (HR), or related field is preferred. Prefer healthcare recruitment experience. Experience with and knowledge of sourcing effectiveness, screening, interviewing, selection and candidate assessment techniques highly preferred. The following certifications are preferred: Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR); Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR); Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP); Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP); Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); or certifications issued by Human Capital Institute (HCI).
Preferred Qualifications:
- External sourcing and recruitment-marketing experience, preferably from a complex healthcare or enterprise setting.
- Well-versed in industry best practices, strategic sourcing, written outreach, utilization of social media, and candidate engagement through CRM platforms.
- Project management skills
