Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Transformation – Advisory Services reports to the Director of Professional Services within Mayo Clinic Platform. This position functions in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with executive directors, client relationship managers, solution developers, and internal stakeholders across the organization.
The role also serves as a key liaison to external healthcare innovators and partners, ensuring alignment between advisory services and the broader Mayo Clinic Platform strategy. Success depends on strong cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, and proactive communication.
Position Overview:
The Senior Manager, Transformation – Advisory Services will lead the growth, refinement, and long-term sustainability of Mayo Clinic Platform’s consulting and collaboration services. This individual plays a critical role in defining and executing strategy for client-facing services, ensuring they are agile, scalable, and aligned with evolving partner needs.
This role is responsible for shaping a comprehensive, financially sustainable service roadmap that incorporates stakeholder feedback, market trends, and technology enhancements. The Senior Manager will lead the development and delivery of high-impact, client-centric offerings while implementing systems and tools to drive workflow efficiency and elevate the client experience.
They will also manage performance tracking through key metrics, maintain dashboards for strategic decision-making, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic insight and operational discipline, excels in high-growth environments, and is passionate about transforming healthcare through scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic leadership & service development
- Lead the transformation and scaling of consulting and collaboration services within the Mayo Clinic Platform ecosystem.
- Develop and execute a roadmap for client-centric, sustainable service offerings that reflect user feedback, market dynamics and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings in response to market needs and evolving partner demands.
- Regularly present program updates, insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Operational excellence & process optimization
- Evaluate and implement tools and systems to enhance service delivery, automate workflows and improve the client experience.
- Optimize internal workflows to ensure efficient, repeatable service execution at scale.
- Navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing innovation with operational stability.
Cross-functional collaboration & stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including executive directors, client relationship managers, solution developers and operational teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication, coordinated execution and a shared vision.
- Cultivate a robust network of internal and external subject matter experts to enhance the depth and breadth of advisory programs.
Performance management & continuous improvement
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) to evaluate program impact, client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and monitor data-driven dashboards to inform strategic planning and guide decision-making·
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency, effectiveness and client value.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (business, communications, advertising, marketing, technology, health care)
- 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of management experience in health care or business.
- Experience with the implementation of transformational solutions including the application of AI and other digital tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with medical professionals.
- Demonstrable management and leadership experience
- Experience leading in complex, matrixed healthcare organizations
- Experience in managing teams and the ability to work and collaborate across teams
- Experience in managing complex projects
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing external partners and vendors
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work proactively with internal teammates and external clients
- Excellent communication (oral/written/presentation) skills
