Responsibilities
Reports to the Sr. Executive Director of Analytics and Technology Services and resides within Department of Development Data Technology Services team. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our Blackbaud CRM system, which is integral to our fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integrated systems and strong technical skills. Collaborates closely with IT staff, vendors, consultants, Development Officers, Development Associates, Campaign Managers, Directors, Senior Leadership, and others as needed. Engages with various stakeholders across organization as a liaison to systems and internal data.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the Blackbaud CRM system, partnering closely with the Senior Systems Administrator to ensure smooth system operations including day-to-day administrative aspects of system management (access, data integrity, maintenance, testing, auditing, etc.) ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Partner with IT Team to develop and implement customizations in the CRM to meet organizational needs. Integrate Blackbaud CRM with other enterprise systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. In partnership with Senior Systems Administrator, oversee data integrity within Blackbaud CRM, including data import, export, cleanup, and deduplication processes. Design and implement a structured training program for users in Blackbaud CRM. This includes creating training materials, process documentation, conducting regular training sessions, and providing hands-on coaching. Provide expert-level support to CRM users, fostering a culture of continuous learning and system proficiency. Work closely with the Senior Systems Administrator to gain in-depth knowledge of the Blackbaud CRM system and its related workflows. Perform regular system updates under the guidance of the Senior Systems Administrator. Take ownership of smaller projects as assigned, with the support and oversight of the Senior Systems Administrator.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree and 3 years’ experience in technology, business, healthcare, finance, computer science, or engineering with a required minimum of 2 years’ experience focused on support, configuration, or implementation of an integrated system, automation, or other technology related field OR high school diploma and 7 years’ experience focused on support, configuration, or implementation of CRM systems such as a Blackbaud or similar platforms. Ability to work in multiple system environments and applications. Proficient in use of project efficiency tools. Direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software. Proven ability to successfully manage projects of a medium complexity impacting multiple systems or departments.
Must be able to prioritize and successfully complete multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible and willing to maintain a positive attitude towards continuous learning. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills required. Proven investigational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Must exhibit diplomacy, tact, initiative, and organizational skills. Must possess the ability to inspire trust and confidence, communicate effectively with internal and external audiences and demonstrate ability to maintain outstanding customer relations.
