Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic is seeking candidates for the Vice Chair, Quality - Patient Experience. The Vice Chair of Quality is the enterprise administrative leader with the responsibility to evolve and drive the Quality strategy of creating an unparalleled experience for persons seeking Mayo Clinic for trusted knowledge and health care.
As the Vice Chair of Quality, you will be responsible for overseeing several service lines and programs to improve the digital experience, personalized care experiences, innovative care models and technology integration. You will also collaborate with physician and administrative leaders across the Enterprise to enhance relationships and ensure successful operations of strategic directives. One of your key roles will be to lead the Mayo Clinic Experience program, which aims to deliver the best possible care and service to every patient, every time.
You will be responsible for managing, coaching and mentoring a staff of operations administrators; achieving performance metric targets; and monitoring, categorizing and working in partnership with practice to reinforce Quality principles. You will represent the department to and participate in institution committees and task groups, external groups; coordinate Mayo resource plans (projects, people, facilities, money and equipment) in an effective and efficient manner; develop and foster strategies and directions that support department and institution goals and objectives. You may serve as secretary, assistant secretary or member of institutional committees.

Qualifications
Master's degree and 10 years of experience in quality, patient experience and/or consumer experience required, including a minimum of five years' relevant administrative experience with demonstrated leadership expertise. Knowledge and background in digital consumer or patient experience preferred. Passion for continuous learning and improvement, and a commitment to Mayo Clinic's core values of respect, integrity, compassion, healing, teamwork, innovation, excellence and stewardship.
