Responsibilities
The Portfolio Administrator is responsible for providing support activities for Category Managers including contract life cycle management, agreement negotiations, final contract review, stakeholder communications, contract launch preparation and implementation activities.
Portfolio Administrators will work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary work groups. This role will actively lead and participate on projects, facilitate meetings, and present content to internal and external stakeholders. A broad understanding of the interplay between enterprise workgroups and Mayo Clinic's supply network preferred. Has awareness of clinical and administrative systems and processes, with an expert understanding of their interrelationship and dependencies.
Possesses the ability to make appropriate decisions regarding complex issues having cross-divisional and/or enterprise impact critical. Perceptive approach to stakeholder engagement with the ability to identify and navigate delicate topics with competing perspectives. Resourceful and comfortable maneuvering through complicated or ambiguous problems and situations.
Awareness of Third Party Risk Management processes preferred. Innovative and has ability to develop and implement process improvements. Comfortable utilizing new tools and technologies in an agile work environment. Embraces change management efforts.
Willingness to perform other special projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirement to work onsite every Wednesday
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in health care, supply chain logistics, finance, business, nursing or other clinical areas; Certifications may be considered in lieu of experience. Master's degree in health care, supply chain, logistics, finance, business, nursing, or other clinical areas preferred.Maintains a broad knowledge of Mayo clinical, financial, and administrative systems/applications and processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Must be adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing work environment.
Able to handle/prioritize tasks simultaneously.
Basic understanding of accounting principles. Works as a team to provide support to all departments; works with other areas of SCM to ensure exceptional customer service.
Ability to manage time to meet required deadlines. Contract/Product/Service line knowledge and understanding.
Ability to manage vendor relationships.
Comprehension of customer requirements at Mayo and other business collaborations in order to provide solutions to product/service needs.
Demonstrated analytical experience
Demonstrated Project management skills
Relevant post-graduate education (MBA, MHA, other) or professional certification (AHRMM, NAPM, PMI, other) preferred.
