Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the Global Consulting team. The Senior Manager Acts as lead in the planning and execution of overarching business analysis endeavors for international healthcare consulting clients. Has broad understanding and vision for future statements of work and needs with clients. The Senior Manager has the ability to influence and execute strategy of current statements of work. Has demonstrated agility in working with rapidly developing project scope and plan. Synthesizes and drives solutions between operations, work units, suppliers and technical area. Provides direction, coaching, training, and mentorship for team members and colleagues, as appropriate, in alignment with the project, program, or organizational structure within a healthcare setting. Responsible for the development of the business analysis approach. Takes a data-driven approach to reach decisions that support and advance client and team objectives. Ensures the developed solutions satisfy the stated requirements and business objectives. Develops strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical, to develop a solid knowledge base of the healthcare business, including the strategic plan, deliverables, processes, and financial impacts. The Senior Manager leads or participates in the research and consolidation of information to identify and recommend potential business and organizational relationships and partnerships. Applies a strong knowledge base of relevant systems/applications as it relates to workflow, process, and problem resolution and recommends improvements. Has a strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare and all service offerings provided by the Mayo Clinic Global Consulting team including but not limited to clinical service optimization, facilities reviews, nursing program, quality programs, and others as requested by clients. Researches and analyzes operational procedures and methods of clients and recommends changes for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. Stays current on knowledge, practices, and healthcare trends (nationally and internationally) that directly affect the client. Develops client ready deliverables, including the content and formatting.
The position may require matrix supervision and evaluation of staff from other departments and divisions, including external contractual partnerships. May have direct and indirect reports and be in a position to employ and guide the Global Consulting staff in a goal-oriented manner within projects. Creates a collaborative and positive work environment. Partners in the support of enterprise department/division and institutional projects, staff recruitment, policy, and process implementation, and serve as a resource for issues and communications. Initiates judgment in handling a variety of operational and relationship management issues.
International travel to support onsite client delivery will be required on a monthly basis. The frequency and cadence may change based on client need and contract.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Mayo Clinic's clinical and operational business processes.
Previous experience leading teams and managing people is preferred.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools and products.
Bachelor's degree and 9 years’ experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health or science-related field
OR
Master’s degree and 7 years' experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health or science-related field.

$111,010 - $160,971 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
