ResponsibilitiesThe Radiology Systems IT team is seeking an IT Intern to join the team! The Radiology Systems intern will assist the Radiology IT Large Applications Team by analyzing system performance data to identify trends and areas for optimization. They will work on developing data analytics dashboards to visualize key metrics related to radiology workflows and system efficiency. Additionally, the intern will help document the integration of various radiology IT systems, ensuring clear and comprehensive technical references for future use. They will also collaborate on automating routine data extraction and reporting tasks to enhance operational efficiency. Another key responsibility will be assisting in testing and validating system enhancements to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms. Lastly, the intern will contribute to process improvement initiatives by researching emerging technologies and best practices in radiology informatics.
This is a remote internship within the United States. Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position including F1 OPT STEM.
QualificationsThe incumbent must be enrolled in a bachelors, masters or graduate degree program from a college or university. Typically, this internship would occur after the student has taken most of the courses required by the degree program.
Where applicable - the degree program must require an internship as a graduation requirement (or offer as a credit option).
