Position description
Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
Qualifications
Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.

Additional qualifications
Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.
License or certification
ARRT certified in Radiography
ARRT certified in CT within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees.
Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $25.34 per hour.

Schedule details
1 - 8 hour work shift per pay period with the opportunity to pick up open shifts, as desired.
Shift could be at Osseo: 7-330, 730-4, 830-5 or 1130-8 & possibly on call hours. Regular hours would occur Mon-Sat, with on call 7 days/week
Mondovi: 8-430, 8-5 or 1030-7, depending on day Monday - Friday
Weekend schedule
weekend schedule in Osseo: on call Friday at 8pm through Monday at 7am with regular shift from 8:30am - 4:30pm Saturday

Osseo, population 1700, is located at the confluence of the North and South Forks of the Buffalo River. The clinic and hospital are located just off of highway I-94.
