Manage overall treatment plan for unassigned hospital patients and coordinate provision of care by other medical/surgical specialists as needed through the referral of patients to medical specialists, social services or other professionals as appropriate. Serve as liaison with family and other physicians/programs. Ensure patient’s primary care physician is kept informed of medical condition/treatment throughout hospital stay. Multiple openings.
License or certification
Must have M.D., D.O. or foreign degree equivalent. Must have or be eligible for Minnesota medical license and must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine, or in final year of ACGME accredited program leading to certification.
