Position description
This position will be responsible for oversight of laboratory support services and business operations for the department of laboratory Medicine and Pathology. This includes the management of over eighty employees and three supervisors with responsibilities for the coordination of all Mayo Clinic Phlebotomy and Central Processing services in Jacksonville. Business Operation responsibilities include performance improvement and business analytics for the department. This manager works cooperatively with clinical operations, management engineering, revenue cycle, and financial accounting services to optimize operational and financial performance of the department.
MBA, MHA, Master's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred. Progressive responsibility in previous supervisory or leadership roles will be considered. Must demonstrate ability to provide leadership to multiple areas with proven effectiveness in decision making and problem solving. Must possess ability to manage multiple priorities successfully. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional qualifications
Experience in Six Sigma, performance improvement, systems engineering and business analytics preferred. Computer skills required. Must stay up to date on current OSHA guidelines.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,095.20, based on a full-time position.
