Laboratory Medicine & Pathology
Performs analyses on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine, to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. Performs management duties as assigned.
We require a two year commitment to this position
Bachelor's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science (CLS/MLS), medical technology (MT), chemistry, a biological science, or within histopathology or non-testing laboratories, a bachelor's degree with laboratory certification if applicable. Two years of relevant laboratory experience required. An HEW certification may be substituted for the specified degree.

Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems is desirable. Must be capable of producing accurate results under time constraints, multi-tasking, and performing in a fast-paced and changing environment. Must possess good communication skills and be able to work closely with others. Must be able to accommodate scheduling adjustments,
off-shifts, holiday, on-call, and weekend work assignments. Management experience and/or project participation is beneficial.
Requires CV/Resume, unofficial transcript(s), and for foreign trained lab personnel to provide a detailed equivalency evaluation to include US equivalent degree at the applicants expense.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $29.08 per hour.
Works primarily 11:00 pm-7:30 am Monday-Friday unless needed on other shifts for meetings or projects.
No weekends or Holidays unless needed for special projects.
