Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology, Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), the American College of Radiology and procedural protocol. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
Graduated from an accredited Radiography program
One year radiographer experience required
Associates degree preferred
Knowledge and experience with Mammography equipment and procedures preferred
License or certification
License in Radiography (R) within appropriate State;
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Radiography (R);
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Mammography (M) within 18 months of start date;
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $25.34 per hour.
